When my brother's health failed unexpectedly, I found myself travelling to Great Falls, Virginia from our home in New Hampshire, to support him through this challenging time. We needed to help him transition out of his home and into assisted living. Thinking back, I truly do not know how we accomplished all that we did in that short amount of time. It truly was a miracle.
Not only did Virginia check on us daily while we were in Virginia, but she was also “boots on the ground” for us, often providing support and advice in areas that we were unfamiliar with, given that we were from out of state. She would call or come by my brother’s house each day throughout our stay to check on us and to see what she could do to support us.
Once the house was empty, Virginia made all the next steps seem so easy. She arranged an open house and we had over forty people come to see the home. We had a huge response with over a dozen offers within days. Virginia helped us discern which offer was best to accept, and we were able to move quickly to a purchase and sales agreement without any issues. She managed all the complex facets of this real estate sale in Great Falls and kept everyone communicating well and moving forward with information and coordination to close one month later without any complications.
